This is our FINAL LESSON for this Intro Course! 
In this Lesson we review the process we have applied to learning Hebrew directly from the Scriptures. We also take a peek into the Hebrew Manuscript of Revelation, titled HaSodot (The Secrets) at a very important verse we must carefully watch for the fulfillment of!

ג• Copy the HEBREW WORDS and their translations into the corresponding boxes of the interlinear (above).

א•Watch the Lesson Video. (It is scheduled to Premiere Friday evening at 5 PM (in some timezone!.?)
ב•Print out the Flash Cards and Grammar Page (and fill it in as explained in the video)
ג Use the new Affix cards to sort all the vocabulary cards you have printed so far i to piles based on the affix (if any) they appear with. When you have done this, challenge yourself to learn all the ב and מ prefix words this week! Sometimes sorting the cards into new sets can help solidify your memorization!!!! Next week we begin with HaSodot (the Secrets)!! 

א• Watch the Lesson Video as a self Assessment to see where you are in your journey through the living Language! Go back and review lessons and or flash cards from any Lesson you have not yet mastered the Vocabulary of! Be blessed and encouraged!
ב• Copy any words you may have missed (as well as their meanings) into your handwriting notebook at least seven times each! 

Having wrapped up the first 6 days of Creation, this week we took a Shabbat from the Lesson Videos to focus on our NT Transcription Project! I made two special Music Videos for you this week though to help you keep practicing your Hebrew!

א• Watch the Lesson Video
ב• Print out the Flash Cards (they are two sided- one side per file) on perforated Avery 5371 Business Card Stock or other cardstock of your choice.

ג• Copy B'resheet 1: 20-31 in Hebrew, at least once this week, pausing as you come to a word you do not yet know by heart, and reviewing it. Concentrate on the core three letter root word. Do not move on from this lesson until you have mastered the vocabulary in it. This means your copy work should reflect the words you are still learning, so don't be shy to start back at B'resheet 1:1 if needed,  but interaction daily with the text is the only way you will master and learn these words, the more time you spend in it the faster you will cement these words!

For those studying the Conversational Hebrew here are flash cards (Avery 5371 cardstock, one page is the front, one page is the back) for Naama's Lesson, as well as an updated Video for Part 2 which puts the words  on screen for you!

ג• Copy B'rsheet 1: 9- 19 in the HEBREW at least once this week. Circle all the words therein you already know! See how much you have learned!!!???
ד• Copy each new word, along with it's meaning in your Lexicon! 

א• Watch the Lesson Video (feel free to skip the conversational Hebrew part with Naama until you have the Biblical Vocabulary down solidly-you can always come back to it later!) 
ב• Print the new flash cards NOTE: These flash cards are designed to be printed on Avery 5371 perforated Business Card Paper. They are formatted in two separate files so you can print them as two sided cards, but feel free to print these single sided if you prefer that. To print double sided do a test sheet first, with cheap paper and use something simple to save ink but pay attention to how you need to flip the page to get both sides printed right. The Conversational Hebrew cards are also coming soon here for those who want to study those feel free to print them off! (It may take me one more day on them, been a full plate lately and I didn't plan to make them at first!)

ג• After this second review and reviewing lesson 11 and it's vocabulary cards, try to retake the test from Lesson 11 amd see if you did better. If not, circle all missed words. This will be your copy work for this week. Copy each missed word and its meaning once then recopy the Hebrew word itself at least ten times per word this week. By next week you should be doing much better!!!!

ב• Rewatch any past videos to brush up for the test.
ג• Pair off with a classmate to study using the flash cards from last week and the new hones from this week (download below). 
ד• When you are ready download and print the Test, it is closed book, no notes! This is where we see if you have been doing the homework!!!
ה• Submit the Completed Test to me via photo or scan on Days of Awe (you can Direct Message it to me or post in the study hall) or email it to me at [email protected]
IMPORTANT NOTE: Jenny Webster, ever the diligent student corrected me! I have always pronounced the number twenty as eshrim, in fact it is ESRIM, a Sien שׂ not a Shin שׁ! I am correcting the video now and will re upload it !

Jenny Webster has also provided an image of a Printout she made giving the Priestly Blessing's text in English, Hebrew and Transliterated Hebrew. Right click (or press and hold) to save the image onto your phone or laptop, and set it as your Lock Screen. Then when you open your phone or computer, you can be reminded to practice reciting it! Also Roqi Fadi has been gracious enough to share His Cantillation of this amazing prayer, watch the video and be BLESSED, (literally!)

This week we begin to READ THE HEBREW! So exciting! I want to commend each of you for your hard work and commitment! You are doing awesome! After you watch the video do the following Assignments:

1) Copy each word in Genesis 1:1 into your lexicon, along with it's definition.

2) Copy Genesis 1:1 in HEBREW with the Nikkudot. Make it your goal to  do one complete page each day in your graph paper notebook.  ​

3) Download the Crossword Puzzles and Flash Cards below! The crosswords were supposed to be with last weeks lesson but were never uploaded, however they were posted in the #biblical Hebrew Library in the Days of Awe Server, so if you downloaded them there then you don't need to do so here. The hints are composed of the meanings of a given letter and the Answers will be the NAMES of the Hebrew Letters written in English, as listed in the Chart (Aleph, Bet, Gimel, Dalet, etc.)The flash cards can be printed, cut into strip and folded so that the meaning is on the back of each word. My apologies to everyone who was wondering what happened with the Video lesson this week! . I actually had the video complete by Sat. evening and yet despite more than 72 hours of trying to upload and reupload the lesson it failed each and every time! But YHVH is Greater! And He made sure we had a lovely two hour live class together! I also finally got it uploaded to Rumble, and will be  there!  Now comes your homework! Study Study Study!!! *Note: I mentioned crossword puzzles I made for this week but in the stress of trying to get the video uploaded, they were never uploaded here so I am putting them with next weeks lesson instead!)

1)Download and print the alphabet chart and Nikud chart below

3) Rewatch the past lesson videos this week so you are ready to start reading next week!

4)Memorize the Alephbet this week so we can begin reading the Tanakh next week! We are just beginning to introduce the nikud so don't stress on memorizing them just yet, but do familiarize yourself with them by using your chart and picking them out in the Hebrew text some. This will make it easier as we begin to first decode and eventually read the Tanakh!!!

A complete and correct copy of each Worksheet will be posted here as well as in the Biblical Hebrew Study Hall next Sunday so you can self check your work!
